 A Health Style Yu Shang

The end of January of 2013 is drawing near and it indicates the coming of the February. February is a very important month for Chinese people as it's usually is the month of Chinese New Year aka CNY. The ancient old tradition reunion dinner is oft follow by the much look forward to Yu Shang, symbolising wealth, prosperity and vigor. 

So here we proposed to you guys, a very easily prepared and healthy style of Yu Shang adapted and modified to suited for all different stage of age (EXCEPT < 6 year old or > 80 year old and/or people with no tooth - as we know this type of food required a bit of chewing)  

So without further delay, this is the recipe of the Tasty, Yummy and Healthy Yu Shang..



The Ingredients Required for preparing Yu Shang are:

(Put the quantity at ur own preferences)
  1. Purple Cabbages
  2. Carrots
  3. Cucumbers
  4. Tomatoes
  5. Lettuces
  6. Green Apples
  7. Red Apples
  8. Pok Chui (fried wanton skin)
  9. Sesame & Peanut (Roasted)
Sauce for the Yu Shang:
  1. Plum Sauce (5 spoon)
  2. Sesame Oil (3 spoon)
  3. Add water if the sauce is too concentrated. (It is advised to all in hot water)

Let the legend grow..... We Live to Eat Eat n Eat!




10 years ago, we met each other not knowing that one day we will be working in the same company.

However, that is not the beginning of our story yet. Our story begin when each of us begin sharing excitedly on our food escapades and discovering  that We shared the same passion, which is We Live to EAT! EAT! & EAT!!! Of course our quest will not only be on food, but to try various recipe along the way and improved with our readers. 

This is only the bits and crumbles of our story till we creates a café of our own and We beg U to join us along the way and be part of our memories....
